Our Story

I’m Jeff Miedema. I am the owner, CEO and project manager. That is right. Every home we build, I personally oversee. I have been doing so since 1996. It is not often you get the CEO of the company overseeing your project. That is what we have always been about at Jeff Miedema Homes. We want you to have a beautiful house that will truly be your home.

Hiring Part-Time Bookkeeper

Requirements and skills
  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks Online and Desktop software
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with Google, Excel, MS Office required
  • Exceptional QuickBooks skills/experience required
  • Personal time management and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability up to 2-3 days (in office) per week, open to some flexibility
  • Pay: $15-$20 per hour based on experience
